| Bio: | So here's my story in a nutshell: Once upon a time (about 1999) I discovered the internet phenomenon called journal-based RPG's. I really found out about it in the most backwards of ways, when I got into other sort of message-board RPGs. But that's another story entirely. Anyways, I became addicted to these games -- I loved writing, and I loved playing the characters in my head. The doctors called it schizophrenia. I called it having fun. Soon after, a little book came out called "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." And like many of my fellow geeks (RISE UP GEEK NATION!), I became addicted to the series. ADDICTED. That's when the movie came out...and I have no shame admitting that I saw Order of the Phoenix TWICE! It was soon after that, I married my two loves together -- Role Playing Games, and the Harry Potter Universe. And, well...that's how I ended up here at IJ. I started playing my characters at LJ, but made the migration to GJ immediately afterward. And I stayed there for about 5 years, making my way between games and following my friends around. It made me fun. It wasn't too much longer after that, that my love of Harry Potter RPGs got me on a little-known reality show called "Beauty and the Geek." And yes, I did geek out to my friends here on IJ in my Cowboy sort of way. Now...I'm just a recovering journalist hanging out in Ohio, trying to make my way a long way from home. And after taking three months off of the game to get my head straight, I want to get back in the saddle and try my hand again. I'm not looking for exclusively a Harry Potter game...but I would be most interested in those. I'm mostly looking for an active plot line, good, positive, drama-free players, and something where my renegades can have a good time. This is my hobby -- my livelihood.
